• VFR Squawk is A/C 7000
• Max speed below FL 100 is 250 kts IAS, except in airspace C or if cancelled by ATC

for departures:

• check the NOTAM and download the latest charts
• check the ATIS of the departure airport on its ATIS-frequency
• report the ATIS-designator on initial contact with the delivery/ground controller (tower when no ground on duty)
• check the charts for the initial climb altitude and when to contact the next controller as both is part of the SID

for arrivals:

• check the NOTAM and download the latest charts
• check the ATIS of the arrival airport on its ATIS-frequency
• report the designator of the ATIS you have on board on initial contact with the Arrival-controller
• When on block, you may leave the frequency without further notice (last transmission is the readback of the taxi clearance to the gate)
